Refueling

Self-service gas stations are widespread in Japan. This section describes precautions to be taken when refueling gasoline by yourself.

Return with full tank

All our rental cars are rented with a full tank of gas. When returning the car, please fill up the tank at a gas station.

If you cannot return the car with a full tank, you will be charged an additional fee.

Fueling of specified gas

Three types of gasoline are sold at gas stations in Japan: regular, high-octane, and diesel. Be sure to fill up with the type of gasoline that is compatible with the rental car you have rented.

If you put in the wrong gas, do not start the engine and contact us.

Self-Service Stations

When refueling at a self-service station, follow the voice guidance and be sure to touch the anti-static panel before removing the refuel cap.

If you are not confident in Japanese, please use a full-service gas station or ask the clerk how to operate the system.
